Technology rarely decides an IT transformation.
Leadership does.
I help CEOs, CIOs and executive teams steer large-scale IT transformations to delivery. With more than 15 years as a project and programme manager at companies such as H&M and Electrolux, I know where programmes tend to break – and how to prevent it.

Keynotes
Keynotes grounded in real delivery
Every keynote draws on first-hand experience from programmes in large enterprises – what worked, what did not, and why. Suited to executive offsites, leadership conferences and strategy days.
Change that lasts beyond go-live
Why large IT investments reach go-live but miss their targets – and what leadership can do about it.
Most IT transformations reach go-live. Far fewer deliver the benefits promised in the business case. This keynote shows where the value leaks away: in the handover from project to operations, in middle management and in the informal behaviours no project plan captures.
Key takeaways
- A way to assess organisational change readiness before go-live
- The most common reasons benefits fail to materialise after launch
- How the executive team keeps the change alive once the project has closed
- Suited to:
- Executive teams, CIOs and HR directors
- Format:
- Keynote · 45–60 min
- Workshop · Half day
AI strategy beyond the hype
From scattered pilots to business value that shows up in the P&L.
Many companies run dozens of AI initiatives, yet few of them scale. This keynote gives leadership a sober basis for decisions: where AI creates measurable value in your business, what it demands of data, architecture and governance, and how to prioritise without chasing every new model.
Key takeaways
- A model for prioritising AI initiatives by business value and feasibility
- The data and architecture foundations that must be in place first
- How accountability and governance shift when AI enters core processes
- Suited to:
- CEOs, CIOs and executive teams
- Format:
- Keynote · 45–60 min
- Executive team session · 3 hours
Agile leadership at scale
When the framework is in place but the pace still is not.
Agile ways of working exist in almost every large enterprise, yet leadership has often stayed in the old model. This keynote covers what managers and executive teams must do when decisions move closer to the business – without losing budget control, supplier accountability or oversight.
Key takeaways
- Why agile transformations stall at team level, and how leadership breaks the pattern
- How budgeting and portfolio management adapt to agile delivery
- Concrete leadership behaviours that increase delivery pace
- Suited to:
- Executive teams, IT leaders and business unit heads
- Format:
- Keynote · 45–60 min
- Workshop · Half day
Winning the battle for tech talent
The skills shortage is a leadership issue, not a recruitment issue.
Large enterprises compete for the same developers, architects and data specialists – often with the same promises. This keynote shows why the best engineers choose, and leave, employers based on leadership, technical direction and the chance to actually deliver. It also offers practical ways to balance in-house capability with consultants.
Key takeaways
- What makes senior engineers stay – and what makes them leave
- How to balance in-house capability against consultants and suppliers
- Leadership's role in building an engineering culture that attracts talent
- Suited to:
- CEOs, CIOs and HR directors
- Format:
- Keynote · 45–60 min
- Executive team session · 3 hours
All keynotes are delivered in English or Swedish and tailored to your organisation.

About Carl
A practitioner, not a theorist
I have spent my career making large IT deliveries happen – at the intersection of business owners, suppliers and the people who have to live with the result.
After my first years at H&M, I have worked as a project and programme manager. The role has almost always looked the same: sitting between external system suppliers and consultancies on one side and the business owner on the other, accountable for making delivery happen.
I have worked with companies including H&M, Electrolux, SJ, Axfood, Acne Studios, Fenix Outdoor and Elos Medtech, and led teams across several countries. That has given me an unusually close view of where large programmes break: rarely in the architecture, almost always in governance, in supplier relationships and in the human behaviours no project plan accounts for.
Today I use that experience to support leaders facing the same challenges – as a sparring partner, coach and speaker. My advice comes from deliveries that succeeded, and from a few that did not.
